Fire governs the power available for these abilities. However, Air is useful for controlling them, and Earth for endurance - use of these powers can be tiring, sometimes very tiring. If there is a thunder storm in the sky, the character may use Call Lightning and Channel Lightning to help power the magic.
1) Thunder Shout - the character can direct their energy into a loud battle-cry, unnerving and sometimes momentarily distracting opponents.
2) Lightning Strike - the character can strike with great speed, this often includes draw-and-strike manouevres (e.g. iajistsu)
Thunder Blow - the character may channel his strength into a single, powerful blow
Thunder Blow may not be combined with any multiple-attack ability.3) Forked Lightning - the character can strike twice at a single opponent, or two different opponents.
Cloud Leaping - the character may also jump very high, and for long distances. This ability improves with higher levels of magic.4) Cloud Fighting - the character may fight more or less as normal, while in the air (this ability is affected by the Air score).
Channel Lightning - The character can direct electrical currents - natural or supernatural - harmlessly through their body.5) Fists of Lightning - the character may inflict a powerful electric shock on anyone they strike with their bare hands. Characters may apply this to other strikes, provided the body part used is uncovered (e.g. Feet of Lightning, or even Head-butts of Lightning).
Call Lightning - they may also call a lightning strike onto themselves. The latter ability works even if there are no clouds in the sky, but is very tiring if that is the case. The closer conditions are to a thunderstorm, the less tiring it is.6) Hurl Lightning - the character may generate and throw lightning bolts from their hands. This ability is quite tiring.
Weapons of Lightning - the character may generate electrical charges on parts of their body, or on weapons held in their hands. This ability cannot be used with thrown weapons or missiles.7) Walk With Thunder - the character must Call Lightning, then may then travel with the sound of the thunder, arriving in any place where the thunder is heard, when it is heard.
Arrows of Lightning - the character may transform arrows into lightning as they are fired. The arrow is destroyed. This ability is less tiring, and has a greater range than hurl lightning.8) Storm's Fury - the character may strike every opponent within range, with their usual attacks.
Conquering Thunder - combines a Thunder Shout with doubled effectiveness, and a Thunder Blow with doubled effectiveness.9) Living Storm - the character generates hurled lightning from their body - as many bolts as they wish, directed against any target within range.
